Senior Service Desk Administrator, Sofia

Currently we are looking for Senior Service Desk Administrator. The Senior Service Desk Administrator is responsible for technical support for client’s employees and basic support of client`s IT infrastructure, which includes: servers, client devices, network, Active Directory and everything which is in scope of the agreed contact between the company and the client.

The Client is US based company, developer and operator of electric power and district heating business. The used Services are based on ITIL best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • End user technical support. 
  • Utilize ticket tracking system to document all support incidents.
  • Reporting of metrics and KPIs
  • ITIL based Incident life cycle management and Change management 
  • Infrastructure and server monitoring and support 
  • Understand open problems / issues and communicate workarounds
  • Complete project tasks timely and communicate progress or issues
  • Support Windows-based platforms including Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, SharePoint, Outlook 2013 and above, Office 2013 and above, Office 365 cloud services 
  • Identify opportunities for automation, and assist with the development of automation systems
  • Maintain corporate website and training platform


  • Relevant professional experience - at least 3 years;
  • University Degree in information Technologies, Mathematics, Physics or similar;
  • ITIL Certified (foundation or / and practitioner) or a strong working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management disciplines;
  • Experience with scripting in PowerShell or other similar scripting languages;
  • Active Directory User Management including Group Policy Management, NTFS Permissions;
  • Understanding protocols and services including IPv4, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP;
  • Strong understanding of user authentication, permissions, and encryption;
  • Should be experienced in Windows Server management tools and best practices; 
  • Experienced with planning of Server and Client patch management;
  • Microsoft cloud (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Online, Exchange online) or other cloud products; 
  • Server and client virtualization (VMware, Hyper V., etc.);
  • Good knowledge of client endpoint protection products;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure;
  • Proficiency in English;
