Communication Specialist

We are looking for a communications professional who can apply her or his strategic thinking, creativity and ability to deliver results to help Business Services’ short- and long-term business objectives. 

This energetic and partnership-driven individual will have many opportunities to display their superior written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences. This role is in a dynamic environment offering the right individual the ability to develop new skills and build relationships in a global business.
 
We are seeking a self-starter, a strategic and creative thinker and a strong collaborator who will develop effective communications that drive business objectives and build employee engagement. 

The communication specialist will develop communications materials in support of operational, process, and functional achievements, and:

  • Write and edit a range of routine and complex communication plans; 
  • Partner with various stakeholders to create, develop and execute multi-channel campaigns and communications;
  • Consistently manage deadlines and priorities for multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Monitor company news and identify communications opportunities;
  • Promote corporate social responsibility and community examples;
  • Manage employee Intranet site content.
  • Develop presentations, tool-kits, and standard templates. 

The role will partner with Global Communications team and Corporate Affairs team.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Ability to develop engaging and effective copy for diverse audiences around a range of topics;
  • Experience working on a global team/environment;
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet multiple deadlines while working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment;
  • Social media skills;
  • Fluent English.
